Ryan Camilleri, founder of Midow Studios, took part in the Youth Start-Up Launch panel alongside Malta Business Registry CEO Geraldine Spiteri Lucas and Malta Enterprise CEO George Gregory.

Camilleri shared his experience of building a business and reflected on how the support available to entrepreneurs today could have helped him during his own start-up journey.

The discussion centred on the facilities, guidance and support now offered by the Malta Business Registry and Malta Enterprise. Both Spiteri Lucas and Gregory highlighted how processes have been simplified to make support more accessible to founders and young entrepreneurs.

Midow Studios operates within the GamingMalta ecosystem and is based at base_camp, a space designed to give founders the room, connections and community to build and grow.

Camilleri’s perspective carries weight for Malta’s business community. His admission that today’s infrastructure would have changed his path signals how far the local support ecosystem has evolved.

For founders still in the early stages, that evolution could mean fewer obstacles and a faster route to growth. The challenge now is ensuring those simplified processes reach the entrepreneurs who need them most.
